How do I know if a product contains natural rubber latex (NRL)?

Some products are labeled and clearly state that they contain “latex or natural rubber.” Sometimes, it is difficult to obtain full and accurate information on the natural rubber latex (NRL) content of products, which may vary between companies and product series. If you are unsure as to whether a product contains natural rubber/ natural rubber latex, it is important to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s consumer relations department should be able to provide you with information regarding the latex content of their products. Only by contacting the manufacturer of the product can you find out the content of their product. You can use the following letter to obtain information regarding the NRL content of products you currently own or are considering purchasing.
